King Soopers Fresh Fare

"I have had nothing but positive experiences at this King Soopers. The staff has always been nice and helpful. Recently, when I was checking out, I couldn't find a coupon in my purse. It was for $10 off the grocery total. Since I couldn't find it, I paid the total price. Later at home, I found the coupon, went back to the store with my receipt, and customer service took my coupon and refunded me $10. I said "Thank You" at the time, but I'd like to say it again here. Thank you, King Soopers for great customer service. Joy"

"Horrible customer service, Produce not ringing up correctly. Young lady working self check out was poorly trained, and had a bad attitude to the point of being abusive. Do yourself and the world of favor if you don’t like people and hate your job, quit and get a job where you have no interaction with the public."

"I like this store for it's location, super close to my house but ... Often the advertised price is not what rings up. Example: I paid $2.49 for French Bread that said $2.00 on the shelf. I was charged for red garnet yams at $1.89 per lb instead of $.77 per lb sweet potatoes. I was charged for jumbo sweet onions instead of medium yellow onions. The shelf said $3.99 for Miracle Whip yet the receipt says I paid $5.99. I think I overpaid about $7-$10 for these and a couple of other items. Should I have been an eagle eye and questioned it? Should I go back and stand in line at customer service to complain? Probably, but do you? Should we have to go over a receipt with a fine tooth comb? Thinking I will avoid this store for longer lists in the future. As a retired I can't afford these mistakes."

"I love this grocery store and I love how walkable it is to the apartment complex. My advice is to take the back roads.. I would come here for decently priced foods and great service almost every single employee has a fantastic attitude and smiles while they work. I was expecting Denver to be extremely expensive, but shopping at this grocery store was within the budget. They even have a discount section. I would come here for fresh sushi, baked goods, deli items, and Starbucks, even though that really isn’t my jam if you’ve never been to King Soopers before it is basically a Kroger. I grew up in East Tennessee and that’s what we had and I feel the same vibe at this location all the way in Denver. Be kind to the people that work here. "Feb 2023: No longer has the good deals NO $1 donuts. NO $1 yogurt. No $1 discount bread shelf. Like any other grocery store now. :-( Best grocery store in town for bargain shoppers. This location is also a large supermarket with all the options one would expect. Quality and service is solid, but what makes this a 5-star place is the amazing marked down items. For example, a dozen donuts are regularly $1 and they taste fresh. Check out the front right sale sheft and walk around the store looking for the mark-down sticker on products. The reduced prices are give away prices and the quality of food is still high."
