"A bad experience this morning with the cashier, I asked her about the deal for my cheese if she could help me with getting a deal with my coupon in my app, she said it comes off when it totals, I got the store deal but not the clipped deal. I went up to her and asked her why I couldn't get the clipped deal? She the told me I had do that on the app. I would have appreciated that if she told me before the purchased the item. I don't understand your app completely. I just wish I could get help without me annoying them. There was two ladies behind the customers service desk while I asked the cashier in front of them, one was on her phone and the other on the cash register. They looked very annoyed and didn't want to help the situation at all. Its always like this when I come into the store. So unfriendly and I get dirty looks like don't bother me. Very unappreciated!!!"

"I was traveling with a friend, and we decided to search for a Starbucks. We found this location inside Safeway and wished we would have passed it. First off, the bathrooms were supposedly out of order. They should probably fix the problem, based on the other reviews its been the same issue for months. You would think that a large organization like Safeway would have it resolved. This leads me to believe that there is an issue with management wanting people using the restroom. It's part of the business. Yes, there will be homeless that trash your bathrooms. Get your staff to clean regularly. Stop using excuses. This place has a pharmacy and serves drinks/food, so you are obligated to provide restrooms. Im sure your actions are not in line with ADA or DORA. No one has pushed it legally, so you haven't attempted to resolve or come up with other solutions...Examples- provide access to the second set of restrooms near the front or get temporary port-a-potty. Next issue, while I was waiting for our Starbucks drinks, I watched a clerk come from behind the service desk and go behind the Starbucks counter with her used cup and help herself to a drink. There were no sanitary measures in place, and when she was done helping herself, she walked right past the store manager as if this was acceptable. The manager said nothing and was very uncaring. Several customers walked by the manager with no communication or thanking them for the business. I've seen many Safeway stores close over the years, and it pains me to see the smaller chains fall victim to the big blue box walmart. Safeway, your prices are higher, your service is poor, and you are losing the battle. Recreate your brand image by showing your customers you care and be the neighborhood grocery store that the community wants to shop at. Price is important, but not as important as showing you care by greeting your customers, thanking them for the business, showing you care by addressing the restroom situation. Customers like myself with a medical condition show their gratitude by continuing to shop, or we just don't return. I can't think of a time that I've ever been to Walmart or Target, and they had no restrooms. Get it fixed and address the culture issues. There is no need to respond with anything other than when you will have your restrooms open to the public available for everyone including those with disabilities and retrain on the poor behaviors."

"Chronically understaffed, unprepared, and unwilling to provide services that are offered and preformed at all grocery stores across the country. You can feel the tension and spite from almost every employee. They make excuses for their behavior and blame customers for their horrible business model and attitude. Do not recommend."

"Wish I would’ve read some of the reviews before I came here to shop since they truly don’t believe that cashiers are needed. After realizing that we stopped our big shop/purchase and will go somewhere else. Self checkout only so treat this one as a half stocked convenience store"

"Employees are 5-star. But pretty much everything else about this location sucks. The bathrooms are always having sewage issues and REEK of sewer. They are clean on the surface (props again to the employees!) but clean doesn’t cover sewer stench. And the bathroom are by the bakery markdown :( All Safeway prices are high, but if you shop the deals it’s fun to “extreme coupon” here. I also have a problem figuring out which doors to go in. They close the accessible doors after hours, because I guess handicapped people don’t go out after 8 pm. Not to this Safeway, anyway. And it sucks extra because they only keep carts on the accessible side since the pandemic. I guess you have to wash the carts, but the filthy hand baskets are a-okay. The old cart space is now filled with like a thousand cases of water. Update October 10–accessible doors locked at 7:45 pm. Many people walking toward the doors. Shame on you. If you come to this store after dark, be prepared to be fully mobile AND to only use a little hand basket as you stroll through Sewage-Way. Update feb 2022: the classiest photo ever! From the classiest Safeway ever!!! Gather round, folks, this delightful entrance not only keeps those pesky wheelchair people out, it requires strong arms to escape in case of fire AND you get a free shower of snowmelt and ceiling tiles!!! 7:01 pm and they just announced that the north entrance is indeed closed. Update may 2022: after last blasting this location on socials, they kept the entrance open for a few months. But back at it now! No cashiers tonight either, stupid me for paying for my groceries!"
