They have painted it, put new carpet in, redid the pool area, and remodeled the front desk area. The Manager, Terry says there’s more to come. I can’t wait to see what else there doing to it."

"I prepaid for a 3-night reservation at this hotel the beginning of June for Parents Weekend at CU in October. It is now the night before my reservation and the hotel said they can’t honor the reservation. They didn’t refund the money; they just said they couldn’t honor the reservation. Of course, there are no hotels left in Boulder for this weekend, which means my wife and I have no place to stay. Clearly, the hotel sold our room to someone else and probably got more money for it at the last-minute. You can’t trust this hotel so don’t waste your time or money. I should have trusted the many bad reviews when I made my reservation. Don’t make the same mistake. 10.12.2023 Update: The hotel responded so I wanted to update my review to include a response. The hotel had changed management prior to me making the reservation. So, unless it has changed management again within the past four months, this is not new information. Second, it has been over four months since I made the reservation and paid for the room in full. It is unacceptable to cancel the reservation less than 24 hours before check-in, as you should have been able to identify this well-before now. My reservation was non-refundable if I canceled it, which didn't leave me an option to change once I booked it. What is the penalty for you canceling it? None. Finally, you don't know my situation, or the situation of any other person who reserved a room. So, you have no idea of the problems created. We can't attend CU Family Weekend now because there is no availability in Boulder, despite us planning the trip more than four months in advance. Are you offering to find us a place at the last minute? No. Are you offering to pay for any airfare cancellation fees? No. You are doing nothing to help with this weekend despite the mistake on your end. And, I seriously doubt it is common for hotels in the area to be overbooked and cancel rooms with less than 24 hours notice over Parents Weekend."
