I haven't lived in Longmont for years, but I'll drive an hour each way just to leave the pups here when I go out of town. Scooby and Gus always have a great time."

"I was a long time customer of Happy Hounds (about 5 yrs) and have recently ended this relationship over a $20 nail trim. I bring my dog in every 3 weeks for a nail trim. We have also utilized other grooming services and daycare. This last time, the (very unfriendly) groomer returned my dog to me, without saying a word, with 3 bloody nails. I showed this to the receptionist and she was at a loss for words, explaining that she was new and that she would go speak to the groomer. Upon her return, she relayed the message that perhaps my dog was having an "off" day and that black nails are hard to work with. I left and she called me a while later after speaking with the owner. She repeated the same explanation and offered me a 50% discount. It is obvious that black toe nails are challenge to work with. That is exactly why we bring our dogs to a professional to get it done properly."

I have worked at many other places that accommodate dogs since then, but Happy Hounds will always live in my heart as number one. "Happy Hounds is what doggie daycare should be! The are attentive to the dogs needs and temperaments, and separate pups accordingly. I had never boarded a dog until I got my whippets.
