Garden Center at The Home Depot

"I like the selection of plants in the garden center and I found the annuals and perennials I was looking for. Also, I was pleased to see some Wooly Thyme and other steppables that we can place between flagstones in our garden patio."

"Great selection of Flowers and gardening equipment. Planting mix, pest repellent, and planters to choose from. Also has fertilizer for the lawn and watering equipment for the lawn and garden."

"Went to this location to buy pavers and ground cover which were in the garden department. There were 2 check out lines both of which were busy so we picked the line closest to us because the pavers were very heavy and we didn't want to push them any further than we had to. We stood there for almost 10 minutes without moving. Meanwhile the other line had doubled and the line behind us had also grown. Found out the cashier for our line was opening a credit card and apparently didn't know what she was doing so she had to call a manager who was taking their time coming out. When we asked how much longer we were told to go inside where the cash registers were at the other end of the store! (Heavy pavers) Why she was opening a credit card in that location is beyond me! At the least she should have canceled the transaction, processed the other customers until the manager showed up then brought the customer back to the front of the line! Terrible customer service!"

"This store is useless. Three times i have been treated like an annoyance or an idiot in three different departments! Today a went in to ask about which fertilizer would be best to prep clay for new sod. After looking for help for 10 minutes I asked a cashier working in the garden department what she knew about sod. Her literal answer was "it's grass". What?!?! She then called someone who said to go buy top soil. I would need to use 6 cubic yards fyi and I already considered that hense the fact i wanted to adjust my clay. The electrical guy is a jerk. He spent 20 minutes talking to a couple about a boxed humidifier that clearly said everything there was to know on the box but shrugged me off for asking about florescent balast and LED tubes. I begrudgingly went back so see if I could rent a tiller...the kid said he didn't know and to ask someone else. So I did. The lady looked dumbfounded that I wanted to rent something and said all they rent is trucks. Ok fine but why did I need to waste time finding anyone to tell me no? Finding anyone to help get large items down or load them is impossible. I really leave this store annoyed and depressed 99% of the time."
