"They always take care of my pups one of my dogs smiles and they made sure his profile says "he smiles but isn't aggressive" which I appreciate because a lot of people think he's aggressive because of his smile. They went so far to have a picture of him smiling."

"I recently took my senior cat to this vet office for diabetes treatment. Despite being informed that remission for her was unlikely, I diligently followed the vet's recommendations, going in for 7-8 glucose curves. Each time, the results were alarmingly high, leading to an increase in insulin dosage. Despite my concerns with the in office visits, the vet insisted there was no way to perform glucose curves at home. In the last two visits, suspecting stress, I requested to put my cat on gabapentin, but the numbers persisted. Shockingly, during the final visit, my cat returned home covered in dried pee and poo and had stress tears in her eyes. When questioned, the vet casually mentioned she does pee herself to avoid glucose tests, yet they didn't clean her or inform me of her condition before handing her to me. Later, after seeing another vet, I discovered the advice given was inaccurate. Home glucose monitoring, without someone doing it for you, is possible and crucial for stressed cats. Remission is achievable with proper care and information. The vet's misguided practices not only risked insulin shock but also exposed my cat to unnecessary distress. The neglect in handling her hygiene raises serious concerns. This vet office falls short of genuine care, and pet owners should exercise caution before entrusting their animals to them."

"**UPDATE** The entire management and staff has changed since I wrote this review. I don't know anymore about the staff or how they are, my pup is no longer with me. I love this clinic. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and non judgmental to those of us who do our best but still fall short in caring for our animals. We have had health problems with our aging cocker, and they are wonderful about laying out options for tests, treatments, pricing etc. As well as letting us know what they think is urgent, what can wait, and if they come to something they don’t know the answers to, they admit it and refer specialists. I have been very happy here and would absolutely recommend them."

"I’ve been using animal care center of Aurora for two years. The only complaint I have is it’s hard to reach them sometimes but I am very happy besides that. I have two cats and two dogs and they always take great care of them (we have had spaying, heart worm treatment for our rescue, behavioral issues that were discussed, and normal preventative care). They ALWAYS ask before doing treatments and tell you the price which is so helpful and I really appreciate the transparency. All vets there have been knowledgeable and even with many leaving they have never disappointed me. The vet techs are amazing and very helpful. The whole clinic adores my pets and they are very kind in their care. I suggest this clinic to all my friends who are around the area."

"So my one cat is very problematic and the other is her opposite. The folks here are so patient and very transparent with me at all points. I will tell you they definitely have reasonable pricing. Sometimes that comes with a lack of care or communication but that doesn’t happen here. They are always quick to return a phone call, answer a question via email, or work to get you an appointment if it’s urgent, the folks here love animals and it shows!"
