Very friendly, helpful, and they were willing to help immediately. I was able to finish my ride and feel safe to race on my bike. "Talk about friendly and helpful! My friends and I were visiting Colorado - some of us from Canada and others from California. We visited the Golden Peak Cycles shop on a lark while wandering around in Golden just checking out the town. I have done a fair bit of mountain biking but my friends had never tried it. The staff at the shop were super friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to get to know our relative comfort levels, experience, and preferences before recommending bikes for us to rent and routes for us to ride. The route we took ended up being more challenging than we could handle but I don't blame the staff for that. We don't have mountains back home and the terrain / elevation was new to us. In short we got our butts kicked but it was still a very positive experience overall. If you're looking for a place to rent or buy in the Denver / boulder / colo spgs area, go find Levin in the shop and he will get you sorted. I'll be back!"

"Ordered a helmet from them. On their website they state that most items ship within 48 hours, typically the next business day. The listing on their site said the helmet was in stock and ready to ship so I figured it would be sent soon and paid for 3-day shipping. I received a confirmation email that did not indicate anything was wrong. After 3 days I still didn't get any notice of it being shipped so I reached out to them about it. They then responded that it was actually being sent by another company (nothing on the listing indicated that they did not have it in stock at their store location or that it would be coming from anywhere else) and that they did not know why it had not been sent. I then asked to cancel the order as I was not made aware of a delay and they said it was too late because it was set to ship the next day. Next day arrives and still nothing. I reached out again and was ignored for 2 days. They finally responded after 2 days and said it had now been shipped by the other company and there was some delay "at the warehouse" that they also weren't told about. They gave me a tracking number for a pre-shipment (still has not been shipped despite what they said). It still hasn't been shipped, I have no idea when or if it will come and they refuse to cancel the order. They're holding my money and won't give a clear answer about when I'll get it. They've lied to me twice now that it was sent. It's been 8 days since ordering with no information on when it will actually arrive. EDIT: after seeing this review someone from the company finally reached out via phone and apologized for their handling of the issues. They did eventually send the helmet and we're kind enough to refund the cost for the trouble and delays. I do appreciate the consideration even if it would have been better for this to have been solved before getting to that point. Since they did try to make right in the end I've changed my star rating but won't be taking this down as I feel others should know what my experience was in it's entirety. I hope going forward this company makes more effort to solve customer issues before they become a problem."
