The Home Depot

"Went here for a washer & dryer that was stackable, as they were going in a tight, vertical space. I paid in full & Home Depot informed me delivery would be made in 7-10 days. Installation team shows up with no stacking kit, which I already paid for & which salesperson clearly placed on my order. I tried to convey to them that this will not work without the part. Both of the 2 hardly spoke any English, even using Google Translator on their phone in an attempt to communicate. I refused delivery. Tried dealing with "Customer Service" & their "3rd party warehouse", but got nowhere but the runaround, so I went to the store to demand a refund. The store would only refund me $150 & said I must wait about another week for the remainder of my money. 3 weeks time, & numerous lengthy phone calls later, I was finally refunded my full amount. Customer Service people lost count of my cash twice when attempting to count out my cash refund. If you buy an appliance here, I would suggest that you haul it away yourself right then & there. Do not rely on Home Depot's "delivery subcontractors"."

"This is a great Home Depot. Very well organized store always clean, help available, easy to find what you need, quick check out and pleasant staff. I was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes with all the items I needed!"

"Drove to this store because the one we shopped in today was out of stock for 2 toilet seats we wanted. We found them at a higher price here and my son presented his military ID for a 10% discount. That's all he has to do at other area Home Depots. This one requires an online account. The manager said she'd issue the discount this one time. When we arrived home, we reviewed the receipt and saw the manager only provided a discount for ONE of the two identical items purchased. Is that half a thanks to veterans? It was disappointing to see the manager pulled a fast one and disrespected my 100% disabled veteran son. (The other Home Depot we made multiple purchases at earlier today issued provided the discount for all of my son's purchases, not just one.)"

"Right when I walked in to survey the refrigerators, I was approached by a sweetheart of a lady named Susan. You can tell she enjoys her job. She offered to print out information sheets on whatever I was interested in so I had what I needed to compare the specs and make an informed, educated decision. I asked her what her schedule was like because I didn’t want her to miss out on her commission when I was ready to purchase. Susan informed me that they do not work on commission. THEY DO NOT WORK ON COMMISSIONS?? She was so helpful without the promise of an incentive? I miss when more were helpful just to be helpful. I came to this store after visiting my local Lowe’s. At Lowe’s I was only asked if I needed help as I was exiting the store. I’m still deciding on the refrigerator I want, however I know I’m getting it here!"
