Golden Palace Nails

"I’ve gone to Golden Palace Nails a few times now, and every time it’s been amazing. The staff is so friendly, and I have never had to wait. (I’ve been a walk-in customer each time.) I appreciate that every tech I’ve had pays really close attention to their work, it’s near perfection. The gel polish lasts forever — upwards of four weeks. No chipping, peeling, or cracking. The only reason I have to go back is because my nails have grown or to change colors. Longest lasting polish I’ve ever had — and I am really hard on my hands and nails. I got acrylic last time, and same thing — the edges didn’t peel or chip. High standards, high quality, and great attention to detail. Plus, it’s really pretty and relaxing inside! My new favorite nail salon — highly recommended!"

"I went in without an appointment, and Kimmie is the nail tech I was placed with. I went in with a picture of what I was looking for. Unfortunately, they didn't have the supplies on hand to accommodate the design. I quickly found another design that Kimmie was able to do beautifully. Golden Palace Nails is a great place to go if you need your nails done in a hurry. I will be returning with my daughter. Thank you for getting me in quickly."

"Let’s start with the five star positives: Beautiful salon. The counters, bathroom, sinks, mani/pedi areas were spotless and a short wait time. They also acknowledged me right away which was nice and instead of the 30% they have dropped it to 20% off which is still nice. Lastly there were plenty of nail colors to choose from and my mom’s tech, Jimmy, was amazing. The negatives? My nail tech …I haven’t had my nails done in over a year and I opted for a $40 shellac manicure. She literally took 15 minutes!! I was floored by how fast and sloppy of a job she did. She barely cut any cuticles and when she was filing my nails she kept filing my skin underneath the nail and my nails were not even short. I think she was just being lazy and sloppy. She also didn’t put the polish as close as possible so it looks like it’s been a few days already. Such a disappointment and the color (51) looked different on my nail so that was also disappointing. I was looking for a light pink/purple hue and I got a bright pink color. Lastly, but most importantly…she didn’t use the sealed in a bag sanitized nail cutters and cuticle trimmers like the other manicurists. I noticed Jimmy using them for my mom. Long story short? I will be going to Jimmy on my next visit to give them a second chance. Wish me luck and that they last 2 weeks!"

"I gave this place 2 chances and it’s safe to say I won’t go back. Color selection is very small and limited. It’s clean and new which is nice but.. First time I got a pedicure, it was okay… it included a foot scrub but she did it for so long I felt like my skin was being rubbed off. Came back a second time for a mini and pedi. I’d asked my tech if she could do a design on my nails, it included a 3D aspect on 1 nail and a fairly simple garland on another finger, I was told she couldn’t do it and nobody in the salon could (there was at least 6 other techs). I was disappointed but proceeded with a basic red glitter gel. The owner changed out with the tech and asked if she could see the pic, I showed her and she confirms the 3D couldn’t be done there but they could do the other.. at this point it was too late as my nails were already red. She tried to give me a gift certificate to make up for it but I refused, I knew I wouldn’t be back. Extra annoyed that my nails literally were done not even 24 hours ago and they’re already peeling. ☹️"
