"The atmosphere is great it feels just like in PR, having that said avoid the arroz con gandules. ¿Quejesto? This isn’t even remotely close to what it should be like that isn’t even arroz con gandules. The chef needs to do better or take a trip to PR to get a refresher of what it should look like and taste like. The tostones were perfect and the chicharron was good but could use some salt. Everything else wasn’t great (pernil, ensalada de coditos, and mofongo). The quesitos are the best I’ve ever had they are great. I don’t even like leaving bad reviews but being a Puerto Rico native I can’t let this slide."

"Food was great, the only reason I took away a star was because of how long we had to wait. It took 1 hour and 30 minutes before we got our food. Now, they had just gotten a large group before us so I understand why it took that long. The Pollo en fricase was great, white rice and yuka were delicious. The mofongo however, estaba medio soso. They should put a mojo de ajo on top of it, or give it to you on the side, heck they didn't even offer mayo ketchup with it. It was kinda dry and you could tell it wasn't made fresh. It was the same with the chicharron and steak, and was definitely missing some seasoning. Next time I will not be getting the mofongo, unless they make some improvements. I will come back for sure, even if I didn't have the best experience it was still pretty good. The service was great as well."

"Everything was amazing. The beers were cold and the appetizers came out just in time. We had lunch here and the food portions were large. The plates had great seasoning. The place is so cute and clean and the waitress were very attentive. We are from Miami and we highly recommend."

"I don't know if I'll come back. The food was really good but the service was bad. We ordered an appetizer and entries. After 20 min the waitress stopped by and asked us if we needed refills on our water, "yes, please". We didn't see her for another 30 min when she came with our food. A different waitress came later and refilled our waters. I asked a different waitress about the status of our food, "we are a family-owned business. There are only 2 people preparing food". I got a salad as a side and asked for ranch. We didn't see our waitress again until she dropped off our check. Don't come here hungry because you will have a long wait for food. Took an hour to get the appetizer. Once you get your food you will be fighting off the flies to try to eat it. So many flies. With all of that said, the food was really good. I would say, order the food over the phone and do take out. No reason to stay because it will ruin your experience if you do. Oh yeah, the parking was very limited. Good luck."
