"Saturday 5 pm says there open till 6pm but ofcourse no answer to phones and no one is here. Drove 30mins for no one to be here. It is literally always the worst experience with this company. I'm not sure why it's such a problem to just have a reputable service ceneter."
"Equipment works fine. $110/mo, dunno how that compares to other providers. Been sitting outside for over an hour. Came 10 minutes into their hour lunch break and figured I'd just wait for them to get back at 2. It's 2:30 and no one here still. Not the first time the building has been completely vacant. With no sign or anything. Charges $150 for installation and uninstall even though the process takes 10-15 minutes. The phone line won't let you talk to someone at the office. Hold time is regularly 90+ minutes for a call center agent that doesn't have access to correct information. I'd recommend trying a different provider. Also if anyone knows how to file a report on ignition interlock providers please reach out."

"Just showed up because the dealership working on my car turned the car on and left it on causing my machine to go off so I came down to the shop to find two other clients waiting an hour after open time and no one was inside the shop. I called smart start and they called the employee and the manager and no one answered the phone. One client also said they want yesterday and it was closed two hours before closing time. I’ve always had bad service here. If you can AVOID this place. They are closed for the next two days and now I will have to pay a lockout fee. Smart start told me file an incident report but last time I did when my machine wasn’t working no one reached out to me. Smart start only communicated with you when it’s your fault something is going wrong. They dont try at all when you’re not at fault"
"Typically a good experiance here, you pull up and the employees will come and greet you and get you taken care of. But on 12-6-23 I attempted to get my vehicle calibrated but nobody was there. No sign up saying they were closed or anything. Doesn't make sense that a government mandated company would behave like this. Oh well I guess being a cash cow for the government has its down falls."
