"Arriving a bit after 11am, the server told us to take a seat anywhere. The restaurant was brightly lit, with varying cooking shows on their television. We started with the Shishito Peppers as an appetizer. For sushi, we ordered the Albacore, Yellowtail, Eel, and Octopus - each topped with something unique to complement the flavors. We stuck with the Waterfall Roll, Cherry Blossom Roll, and Black Canyon Roll. All three were served in an engaging set up, showing us that we ordered fantastic dishes."

"The only thing I wish is that I could rate this place higher. The presentation, quality, and speed of service is all unbelievably good. It’s East Moon level of quality at King Soopers sushi prices. For $25 I got 12 pieces of sushi, a sushi roll, a salad, and some miso soup. Once again I can’t stress enough how high quality it all was."

"Omg this place is so good. I almost don't want to share my review because I like that they were not that busy but that's not fair for them haha. But everything was authentic and delicious and the service was so attentive. They gave us some really beautiful cuts of fish as well. The salmon was picture perfect. And then we got some delightful Toro handrolls. Honestly I want to go in right now because my mouth is watering just reviewing them the day after. They also took the time to make us a really nice boat for presentation which isn't too common when you are just ordering a handful of rolls. So that was really nice of them to go out of their way to give us a special presentation. And every single food item was perfectly delicious and authentic. From the miso to the cucumber salad to the jalapeno yellowtail yuzu. I loved everything. My only regret is I did order a tiny bit too much trying to find a roll that my daughter liked so we did waste about the equivalent of a full roll and I do hate that but oh well. We were pretty close to ordering the correct amount of food haha. Blame my picky daughter lol. And the seaweed salad and cucumber salad were both very generous portions that surprised me. But I love cucumber salad so I was happy to keep munching on that throughout my meal. I guess the only thing I didn't like was the cup choice for the tea. I just don't like American dishes when I'm eating Japanese food like give me a little Japanese cup thank you haha but of course that's just me nitpicking. All in all I was impressed with the quality of the food and very happy to have such great service. I will definitely be back. This is probably the best Japanese place near Castle Rock that I have found so far. Domo arigato gozaimas."

"Very good first experience with takeout from Shoyu Sushi in Parker. We easily ordered online for a scheduled pickup and all was on time. The Crazy Tuna roll was our favourite! We also enjoyed the Maroon roll - great flavour! The White River roll was unique with a cilantro sauce and the Salmon roll with mango was also tasty. Service was great, the order was ready as promised, and the restaurant has an inviting ambiance - we will return!"
