"I took my car to Charles at Cars & Locks Auto Repair for a wheel bearing replacement. While assessing that, he discovered my control arm bushings were tearing, and suggested replacing those as well. He was communicative and honest, took pictures and video of the problems so I could see them for myself, and had me reunited with my car in a very reasonable (and transparent) amount of time. I have had negative experiences with mechanics before where I had no idea what they were doing, what it would cost, how long it would take-- and then ultimately ended up not having the original problem fixed, or having a new one, instead. Not awesome. In contrast, I've had my car back from C&L for a week now and she's driving like a dream. I chose this location initially for proximity, availability, and because they would work with my warranty, but I'm fairly certain I'd be a repeat customer even without all those boxes ticked. Good, honest service is hard to come by. Thanks for taking such good care of my baby!"
