"I have used this family owned/ run company for 5 years now. They sell me supplies for my shop at a great price and I get a great product. I am a small business as well, so it feels good to support other small businesses here in Colorado. Some small businesses have to charge more money than the big corporations but this is not the case with Malco. I get better products cheaper than all of the big guys. If you own any sort of vehicle service business, you should give these guys a try. You will be glad you did."
"I've been a client of Malco for 5 years. A year-and-a-half ago we stop using Malco do to their business practice. They like to come into my auto repair shop during business hours while we were trying to get things done and figure out what pieces were parts we need from their supply catalog. After 18 months of non-use we finally convinced them to give us a product catalog so that we may potentially be able to order more product from them. However voice communication with Malco is extremely difficult. Multiple calls to this Father and Son company finally resulted in being yelled at by the father telling him that they don't want our business because we don't fit in with their business principle of coming out to the shop and pestering the technicians for what they need rather than taking a pre filled out order form and simply delivering product. Inefficiency this company produces has a negative effect on auto shops. As a repair facility we try to make sure that we always have everything we need on the Shelf when the client arrives. Malco does not make this easy with their constant refill system and hopefully we'll be able to take our orders in advance so that we can stay adequately stocked. Two stars. 1 star for berating a five-year client over the phone and the other star for potentially actually listening to the client and allowing us to purchase product in advance rather than sight unseen like an ice cream truck.
