"This has been the biggest nightmare of care I have EVER EVER seen in my life. My sister walked into this hospital on her own 2 feet, after being diagnosed with cancer. was admitted for pain, trying to get her pain under control so she could go home. She was alert and coherent on the Sunday they admitted her, run test through out the first week. My family all went down on a Friday to visit her she was able to go to the visitor room was talkative and alert. Saturday when we went back she was so confused and hilusinating she’s now bed ridden and on feeding tubes. So I’d like to know what the HELL they have done to her. This will be the 3rd week she’s been there and they have moved her from oncology to cardiac as she’s know having heart problems and pneumonia has set in and her lungs have filled with fluid and was moved to ICU. She’d have gotten much better care at a veterinarian. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HERE. I have a brother in law that is a lawyer and a Niece and Nephew that are Head of Hospital at UNMC OMAHA NE and I’ve will be in contact with them."

"I had an amazing experience at this hospital when I gave birth back in 10/20/2021. I’m writing this review after writing another one about my more recent experience. I had a vaginal birth with a spinal/epidural mix and it went great and the care was great also the food wasn’t bad at all. The prayer on the intercom everyday was also really nice for me. Thank you!!!"

"My husband was a heart patient recently. The lack of communication was unlike anything I've seen before. He got a breakfast tray and had it taken away by someone else because he had to have tests done. Completely understand that but we were never told what tests and when. Thankfully he had very nice nurses but to hear the way some of the other staff talked to patients and family was appalling. The lady across the hall was laying in bed Completely naked and her door was left wide open on several occasions. I completely understand being overworked and worn out but a patients dignity should not be put on the back burner. The rudeness from so many employees was so hard to believe. Please let them know a little kindness goes a long way. Communicate with your patients. It really takes so little effort and time to pop your head in a room and update them. Even if you haven't heard anything, let them know they haven't been forgotten."

"This breaks my heart because I once upon a time loved this hospital. (When I had open heart surgery and when my step dad did..) BUT the staff is SO rude. Every single one of them. From nurses down to the dietary aids… awful, disrespectful. I know COVID took a toll, staff is short, frustrated but the disrespect, the lack of communication just sucks. My mom called up there tonight (we stayed the last few days) and the girls on the phone were laughing at her. For what? I don’t know. Do better, please. The disrespect is so uncalled for."

"The only reason I’m giving Mercy 2 stars is for some kind nurses. Parking is a total nightmare, days that I drove around the lot for 30 min + to fill nd a spot! Communication was very poor. Everyday my husband had different doctors. Often as many as 5 staff members at a time with repeated questions. Food was not what it use to be at Mercy. I ordered door dash for my husband. Pretty spendy. He often called me at night, so I would call nurses station, they were not responding to his call. Unfortunately, he was there for 2 months & died a month ago. Very unexpected. It was a daily circus! I regret that he was taken to Mercy. We chose Mercy as his PCP & Nueroligist are with Mercy. Doctors we are happy with. I asked that they both were copied on all procedures & test results. Neither were. Both shocked to hear he passed. If I didn’t stay on top of things he was not getting the care he should of. Years ago Mercy was my choice … no longer."
