"Loved the pool! And, it wasn't freezing. Great pool area with a huge hot-tub. We got a suite and the pullout couch was probably the worst I have ever laid on."

"We were here for surgery at the university and stuck during a snow storm- the staff made home made meals, shoveled people out, let them use their personnel scrapers, all while pulling double shifts. This has been the best I have ever been treated at a hotel. For the money the value and hospitality are above and beyond! Tonka (spelling sorry if it is wrong) and the manager are above and beyond! These girls deserve an atta boy and a raise! Thank you ladies! You really relived our stresses before surgery!"

"The best hotel I have ever visited. The staff are kind, courteous and very friendly. The rooms are clean and very inviting. The pool and whirlpool areas are clean and relaxing. The manager cooks two free dinners every week for guests (tips appreciated) and guests are encouraged to dine together. The Coralville Iowa Comfort Suites is perfect for travelers and anyone looking for a safe, clean, friendly environment to rest and relax. It's perfect for long term stay employees. The location is within walking distance of shopping including a mall, popular restaurants and is located close to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics."

"I booked this hotel because I was coming to an appointment at the Steindler Orthopedic Clinic in my appointment was earlier in the morning. We only had about a 2-hour drive to get to Iowa City from our home so we found a hotel that was fairly close to the clinic we were going to. When we got there to check and we were greeted by a very kind gentleman asked my name asked to see my driver's license. Had me complete the appropriate information on the computer and swipe my card. He gave us the keys and explain breakfast and we went up to our room. When we got to our room we had discovered that there had been some pretty major damage that had been done in the room previously and been fixed. It only took away from the aesthetics of the room. It looked like there was probably some big holes in the wall and that maybe even one of the walls was partially taken out. That was the divider between the sitting area and the bed as we had a suite. The hotel wasn't very busy. There was only a few cars in the parking lot and unfortunately someone got the room next to us even though it wasn't busy and they had their TV up pretty loud and we're banging around in there which was a little bit of a distraction but don't like to complain so didn't say anything to the front desk. Overall the hotel is good. It's in a good area. It's easily accessible. There's plenty of restaurants and stores around the area to go to within just a few minutes."

"Very disappointed in this hotel. Severely overpriced because of a football game. The beds were made but that is about the cleaning done. The floors were not swept. There were huge cobwebs in the corners of the walls. There was chocolate milk in the fridge that was not ours. My family members didn’t even want to use the shower because it did not look scrubbed and the water wouldn’t get hot. The clerk apologized when I expressed my concerns but was also irritated."
