"Aldis used to be about providing decent food and products for low prices. They used to be about serving the poor. Now, all they care about is making money. You can't even buy a gallon of skim milk there anymore, because they don't carry it. Half the stuff they have on their shelves is missing, while the other half is way over-priced. As far as I'm concerned, it can sit there and rot. A while ago, I emailed corporate about some low quality food I purchased as well as complaining about their lack of selection and low quality food. Corporate actually called me and said the franchise owner would handle my concerns and would contact me. I never heard from that person. Aldis has lost its way."
"Have always liked the lightening speed checkout cashiers. Now switching to self serve checkout slows the process down and totally sucks. Customers should be rewarded with a healthy discount for doing the work themselves! Great service is a valuable thing to offer. You'll get yer 4 stars back when you go back to human cashier's throughout."
"Aldi has always been a great place to shop. In recent years. They have really expanded their options to include plant-based, milks and meat. I really appreciate that. The store is always clean in. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Even on very busy days. I'm able to get through the store in a reasonable amount of time."
