"They don’t let you have any kind of fun with your children. My 6 year old who can kinda swim just not the best wanted to go down the slide but wanted me to catch him at the end. All the little kids who are probably just freshly 18 years old they have working as lifeguards told me I can’t catch my kiddo at the end of the slide. I also can’t let him jump off the diving board with his life jacket on to me in the deep end. You can legit not have fun with your younger kiddos unless your in the kiddie area. This place used to be fun when I came here to swim when I was younger back about 10 or so years ago and now it’s just down right lame. I won’t come back. I’ll spend the money to go to funplex and get 10 times more fun for my money."

"Lifeguards for the most part nitpicking everything and are rude. Not all of them bust most of them it’s like you give them a whistle and they think they are the police. If your looking to have fun with your children don’t come here even tho the water is clean and it’s a nice place just not worth dealing with the lifeguards. It’s sad but if you read all the other reviews I’m not the only one with this experience…"

"From my past experience life guards are grumpy act like they don't want to work and are very strict and I will not ever go again. The life guard and consonantly kicking people out for no reason and a 2 year old out because she was yelling.They dont have patients. Other wise the pool and everything else is fun but not so much the lifeguards make it fun at all."

"I was absolutely done with the lifeguards attitude and they do not really stand kids. I’ve had it with them for the last two times I’ve been to Pirates Cove and I will probably not ever come here ever again. I’ve complained and all of them get snotty they’re not really responsible of her children and I would not want to rescue my child if they were drowning because they’re not responsible people they’re too strict and they like to boss people around."
