"I purchased an item with a $8.09 price tag. When I paid with my card, it didn’t display the final price on the screen which was odd, but ignored it and asked for receipt so that I can check it later. Turns out, cashier changed the price to $8.79, added “cash discount” $0.69, I assume that’s credit card fee? The total came up to $9.45. That’s 17% more on the initial purchases. If there’s a credit card fees, it would be polite to state it during the purchase or have a sign about it."
