"Hosts were slightly overbearing. I think there had to be 3 of them total the way they drove around constantly on golf carts or trucks. They were nice, but it was weird to feel so watched all the time. Other than that, super clean and beautiful area."

"This is the third time I’ve spent a week at Lakeside. Very enjoyable. Great spot to kayak or SUP. Very busy on the weekends; try midweek in late spring or early fall. No water, vault toilets."

"Our group of 9 people spent the weekend tent camping at Lakeside (Prosser Lake) Campground. It was beautiful weather and isolated as the lake had flooded many of the RV spaces. My group fished and went out on the lake in tandem kayaks. A relaxing, time in the High Sierra"

"Lakeside is a beautiful place to camp. It's right beside a small lake. The best sites are beside the water. Not having spigot water is inconvenient. There have been issues with the camp host re selling sites that have been paid for for a number of days when he thinks the campers have vacated."

"The photo is site #27 and it's very close to the water. Many other sites have better shade but a longer walk to the water. I like this campground for several reasons. Close to highway 80 but no road noise at all. It's not too hot in the summer and the lake is a great temperature for swimming. You can ride a dirtbike from camp to the nearby ohv trail system. Lastly, it's just remote enough that you can probably get a site here for an impromptu trip."
