"Let me say this hotel went above and beyond! The entire staff deserves an award. They all super warm, friendly and willing to help. I loved my room, the location (great view of the mountains and a little stream just below my window) and customers service. It’s also only a 7 min drive from downtown Truckee nightlife and restaurants. The rooms a modern and come with a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. They also include free breakfast with all you can ask for. They even accommodated my late check out since I decide to ski and extra day. I highly recommended this hotel and would 100% stay here every time I’m in Truckee/ N. Tahoe."

"Overall hotel is aged. Pros Bed was good Room was clean Staff friendly Breakfast was good Cons - Hotel and room has so strong smell of either flea spray or pine sol. I think it’s to mask another underlying smell (maybe mildew) no way it’s not that strong on purpose. You can taste it in your cup water if you leave sitting on night stand. We left window open for most stay. -Floor is soaked in room under a/c / heater - Ceiling in room has peeling paint from water leak looks like from room above."

"This place didn’t really have much to offer so I believe it probably should be a little bit lower in price. Think one step above a motel, it’s just good for sleeping. The beds are very bouncy and the Internet is pretty bad. The staff was incredibly nice and the free breakfast wasn’t bad, make sure to try the pancake machine that was the best part of the whole stay! Also the coffee machine was really cool."

"Beautiful place with warm, welcoming staff to me and my service animal. I stayed at multiple hotels from California to North Carolina, and this was one of two deserving of a five star rating. Luxury, comfort, and perfect accommodations are the first thing that comes to mind when reflecting on my stay from arrival to the delicious breakfast before departing. Will definitely be my go to lodge when back on the west coast, hopefully, not for funeral and estate business again."

"The hotel is in a great location, close to food and activities. Even nice to just play in the snow right outside! The staff is really friendly and helpful. We loved our room super spacious and cozy. The kids loved playing with their selection of board games and building a snow man right outside the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and everything was kept up and clean. We can’t wait to go back!"
