Doggie District - Grand Canyon

"I understand this is a doggy daycare but presentation and cleanliness is important too. Every time I’d take my dog or when my dog was in attendance, the lobby has nothing but dog hair…………… I get it, there are dogs going in and out but every day when I would go and drop off my dog that same hair would be present. I’ve been at other doggy daycare‘s and they were not bad like that. They don’t seem to take pride in presentation of their establishment. Also when you take a tour you’ll see further they don’t clean and sanitize."

"This place is amazing for a couple reasons. My dog is from a shelter and previously lived on the streets, so her history unknown but she isn’t comfortable around other dogs. I researched many main stream doggie daycares and this facility was the best. My dog goes to “daycare” but she is in her own room because of her insecurity with other dogs. She is played with and taken out for walks…..just because she can’t play in a group doesn’t mean she is ignored. The front desk associate answered all of my questions as a prospective customer and provided information I didn’t think of. The facility itself is clean and well organized. I love the photos I receive, it makes me feel better as a pet parent. The staff not only knows my dog but they remember me and my son. That kind of customer care makes someone feel appreciated and welcomed. When I was out of the country and left my dog for over a week I wanted her to feel at home. I was able to bring her crate to put in her room (note: the facility has a crate I couldn’t used but I’m neurotic) I brought her bed, her favorite toy, her raised food bowl…literally all of her home comforts and the staff encouraged it. I did not feel uncomfortable knowing that I was out of cell and email service while my dog was boarded. I would absolutely suggest this particular facility because I don’t know the other ones. You won’t regret it, please know that I am a very picky pet parent and my dogs comfort, happiness is important but so is mine."

"Our dog Max loves going to doggie district at Grand Canyon in Las Vegas. He gets to play with all of his friends in a safe environment. He is a slightly nervous dog but he is not at all afraid of doggie district."
