I am hispanic, so I will never go there again. I don't tolerate racism or discrimination. Hire better employees and now the world knows about this experience."

They also don't put their stock out, so when the website says its in stock at the store and you go there and it's out of stock, it's probably in back and they're going to make you wait 3 days to pull it out."

"I really want to love this place because my sister does, but the company overall has major issues. We drove over to pick up a special order. Battled construction, people driving the wrong way on the freeway, a 40 min drive, etc., only to show up and find they closed an hour early. Plus, the note says "friendly reminder" (next to their postes hours), but how would I have known in the first place? If only there was a way to update the Google Maps listing... But, that's not the only reason I rate this place 2 stars. The area it's in is pretty bad with homeless all around, a run down parking lot, and just overall not a great place to have to drive to. Then, let's talk inventory. I needed a very specific item last time I visited. I checked the website and it said they had 3 yards of it in stock. I showed up and they had 2 yards. Inventory issues have plagued the company for years. I got lucky the 2 yards was all in one piece and not 1 yard and remnants. Ordering online for delivery is not better. All indications (including stock price) say this company is not doing well. It is reflected in the local store as they close early and have massive amounts on clearance (though, some of the clearance prices are rather high for "clearance"). Plan on a disappointing trip and you will meet your expectations. I really only gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because I have fond memories of visiting and getting really cool, unique fabric. I haven't seen unique in a long time at any Joanns, but the 2nd star is for the memories."
