"Prescription was sent to the pharmacy 23 days ago. I called because I had not gotten anything from the Pharmacy saying it was filled or even on file. Turns out they never filled it because I do not have insurance on file there....I've never picked up a prescription at Walgreens, so why would you have it until i come pick up? Now a few hours later I just received a text saying my prescription is delayed due to them not having it in stock.... After this I'm changing pharmacies, the convenience is not convenient."

"Pharmacy dept is rude. I took a Covid test , supposed to get results in 2 hours. I called and they said their computers were updating since morning( 6 hours after I did my test) stated will post results when its done and still nothing. I missed work over this. Not happy."

"After 3 trips to the pharmacy to get my prescription filled they still tell me that I don't have insurance prior authorization (I do). The pharmacist on prior visits was very dismissive and just told me to take it up with my insurance. On the third visit (after me having to confirm multiple times with my insurance that my authorization was valid) I was firm and told them the problem was on their end and I would wait while they figured it out. Vicky (pharm tech) was patient and helpful and called my insurance to try to get the issue resolved (while the pharmacist kept making rude dismissive comments behind the glass). After about 30 minutes it was decided that their software was the problem... nothing could be done... what a joke... take your business elsewhere to avoid wasting time. Oh, and they don't honor GoodRx for controlled medication so you cant go that route either."

"Okay, unlike David's review, I'm not being paid for mine. The store has frequent out-of-stock issues, including foundation, seasonal items, etc. Staff is largely untrained for Western Union, to the degree I had to remedy an issue at Winco, and the pharmacy is so poorly stocked that I now do business with CNS Pharmacy (which is amazing). Walgreens fails to keep stock of everything from my reflux meds, ulcer meds, and thyroid meds. And they were my pharmacy for two years before I switched, so they had ample notice. They even failed to take notice of a "Do Not Substitute" order on my Levoxyl, a brand name thyroid replacement. It's been documented for over a decade that levothyroxine causes narcolepsy and catatonia. And Walgreens still did it after I called to verify the order. (Levoxyl is expensive.) Trying to get help from corporate is impossible and the staff simply doesn't care because Walgreens overworks and under pays them. They're burned out. But someone is going to get hurt one day, maybe killed. Also, Walgreens marks up their generics by 25% and name brands by 40% above competitors to trick you into their rewards program. They sell your data to other companies and make a fortune off it. So IF you have to sign up, use fake information."
