VIP Grooming

"10 Starts if I could! I have tried different groomers and have paid an arm and a leg thinking I was getting the best I could. I happened upon this place by accident. Old town Peoria event and streets blocked. I turned round and THERE IT WAS! I checked reviews and all were good. Those not so good were mostly from people who don't know there family member, wanted the moon and more or will never be happy so I moved past those. OG so good for me. I scheduled an appointment for my cat. The most in need of help of struggling with being out of work, little work and knowing paying bills and feeding us was the best bet. The price was far less than paid in the past to have him shaved which is all I thought was being done. Nope, he was shaved, nails clipped and cleaned. He was so much better as we all would be. Took my dog family in for nails only right now (still working on the budget and needs vs wants). Two groomers attended to them. One was the same one that groomed the cat and the other, less than desirable but they were done. Total process time, maybe 20 minutes for all 3. I am sure two had their "overgrown" toes clipped and then a Dremel tool used to grind them further. The other, I am sure not the case as they are still rough on the edges so I will try this process on him. The point is, I know who I want my fur family of 4 to see and to spread things out so they can see this same person, receive the same service we all want our family to have and to simply be happy that we spent our money well, tipped well and it is appreciated full circle. Please do not hesitate to at least try this business. I think you will be over the moon and back and if not, you are looking for way too much."

"I want to thank the ladies at VIP Grooming , my Sophie looked so pretty for Christmas. They not only put a pretty Christmas bow in her hair, they cleaned her collar and gave her to treat baggie. They are wonderful"

"I had been going here for years and brought three different dogs to them. All of them varying levels of difficulty to groom. Unfortunately, after my last visit I won’t be coming back. My dog Milo has very sensitive skin so I’d bring in his special shampoo so there’d be no risk of an allergic reaction. They must have forgotten to bathe him with it because he had scabs all over his body like he’d broken out in hives. Please be careful when booking here especially if you have a dog with sensitive skin. I loved this place and even the little plants they sell but I’m very disappointed with them. They’ve lost a very loyal customer and someone who’d recommend them to people all the time. It’s also become very difficult to book an appointment now because no one answers the phone when you call. You have to play a game of phone tag now if you want to get booked and even then, appointments are booked like a month out. I’ve included a photo of my dog Milo after his last appointment in hopes that the staff recognize him."

"Great customer service. Spa treatment for our cat! Probably not the cat's first choice, but she looks so fresh and cute afterwards with her little bandana. Updating my still 5 star review. (6 months later) Our kitty got her summer cut! She looks so much cooler."

"Love VIP grooming! This place is affordable, the employees are kind. They're so good with my dog, who hates going in, but they're sweet and patient and we've never had an issue. Bonus - they sell PLANTS in the waiting area and it looks like a house, it's the cutest place ever. Please stop in and give these wonderful ladies your business."
