"We have a 10 year old Trane system that was installed by Howard Air and have kept the service agreements with them to maintain our system. It has worked flawlessly so far. We just had Jay Jackson out to do our winter service on the gas heater/air handler in the attic and he went above & beyond to also check the the compressor/coil unit outside & also flushed the coils of dust. He was very courteous & professional and was all about giving us top notch service. Way to go Jay!!"

"We are very disappointed. We had a Trane unit install for a great price and it was absolutely wonderful until things started going wrong with the unit. It has been less than five years of installing this unit. We’ve had three since last year. During the service visit we found out were not covered for the 10 year warranty because Howard air failed to complete the warranty paperwork in a timely manner as the paperwork stated it was covered but it was not. Have they given us any inclination to file it ourselves we would have gladly done so within the 60 day deadline."

"I own Independence Roofing in Tempe, Howard Air recently replaced a roof-top unit for a mutual customer we share; Margie in Scottsdale. Margie hired me for a full roof replacement which I completed around May. I went back to her roof to add some foam to her metal awning and noticed severe damage to new shingles around the unit. I assumed (incorrectly) she had some basic maintenance to the unit after the roof, and his tools and work boots ruined the shingles which she was not told about. Margie explained they just replaced it and Howard Air would come do the shingles that were damaged. Today I got a call from a HA serviceman explaining what happened to the shingles. He knew I carry the 15 year workmanship warranty on the roof and asked if I preferred to do the repair myself, and to invoice his company for it. Opening HA to essentially a possible expensive repair I easily could have charged several hundred for. He was considerate of my own license, warranty, and offered to make it right with Margie. Of course HA could easily replace this shingles, but it was remarkably considerate for him to call and ask me first. Well done. HA will do the repair with my request to just add a new layer of underlayment under the new shingle section. This was just a very cool moment of a good company owning a mistake, and being prepared to pay for it financially. I don’t have many stories about other examples of this, but a long list of bad/criminal examples from other companies and contractors. Just incase any potential future homeowners/customers read this, Howard Air most certainly is a trustworthy company and I was very impressed by this situation. Thank you Howard Air for treating our customer well."
