"Absolutely love this place! Kid friendly just make sure an adult is carefully watching. The Arizona Bird Store has got to be one of the coolest Birds stores in Arizona! I have been many times and each time has been a special time. Be sure to be respectful to the birds. Ask staff what is appropriate to do. The bird room was a superb experience! Be sure to read all of the signs before entering. You can bring your own fruit and feed them but be sure to do research before hand or ask an employee. The employees are very knowledgeable and compassionate about all of the birds. Another word of advice would be sure to wear longer sleeves just in case. It is a louder environment depending on the time of the day. This is a semi handicap accessible place but there are some tight spaces please keep in that in mind. Calling ahead of time is always a plus. They sell all of kinds of cafes, food, toys and etc for the birds."
"It's a little hectic in there but they know their stuff. I originally went in for a ringneck and after realizing it wasn't a good match for me the worker helped me find a bird I liked and took her time to tell me all about him. Even let me hold him as I checked out the other birds. Very happy with my feathered friend, and they made me feel very comfortable leaving knowing I could call if I had any concerns. Gave vet info and groomed him before we left!"
"Best bird store!! I got my extremely social cockatiel here. He has only been with us a few days and loves being out of his cage. The store even does a 5 day follow up to ensure the bird is healthy. We haven’t reached the 5 day mark yet and he’s already an amazing bird. I will definitely be returning"
