"I have gone to the track 3x in the last month around 7/8 am and the track has been padlocked shut. No practice, no cars in the lot, no obvious reason it should be closed. Very frustrating as a community resource."

"I've been to many track meets here and it's one of the best spots. It never feels too crowded and because of the large grassy areas there's a lot of places to set up tents. It is a bit weird that there's nine lanes, but that's alright. The track itself is very nice and there's nothing wrong with it."
"Open to the public from dusk to dawn or more specifically, after speaking with field manager, they open and close the gates at 6am-6pm. If the team has a meet coming up the coaches will politely ask you to wait after practice ends which is 8am (very reasonable)"
"Open dawn to dusk Monday through Friday. Great track with awesome bleachers. Be weary of a female instructor who holds class on the track MWF 10-11:30. Or at least she did this fall semester. I’ve made a point of avoiding her. She’s very very serious about her classes and will kick you off if you’re there when she is. The coaches and other instructors I’ve come across have all been more than accommodating."
