"I could not have asked for a better place for my son to start martial arts. This isn’t even a sport in my opinion, it’s a community that loves these kiddos as their own. They take time and patience with each student. My son came out of his first class very upset because he didn’t know how to do things, and Sarah, one of the owners, took time after they closed to explain things to him and answer all of his questions. "I started kickboxing back in April of 2023 at Ucelo Martial Arts. It has been one of the best things I've done for my health. Initially, I was very hesitant to join as I did not have any martial arts experience. The instructors and the other students were so friendly and helpful and this is a reflection of the school overall. At that time I was about 213lbs and now, almost a year later, I am at 183lbs. "Amazing place for your little one to learn discipline and techniques and respect. I highly recommend it. My son has ADHD and the instructors here are very patient and are trained for kids with ADHD. My son has been attending for 3 weeks now and we have already noticed a change. We enjoy the 1on1 with Master Ucelo. I would like to also add that this place is family owned and very friendly. Sarahi has treated like family is always attentive. If you want your little one to learn Karate this is the place. They also offer striking and BJJ for adults which I am excited to sign up for."
