"Extremely unprofessional. I had applied to be a custodian in this district. I got a call from Justin, the district manager, that said they were interested in giving me an interview for a position. I called back that same day maybe an hour later and he immediately let me go for an attorney situation. Understandable. I said I would call him back later that afternoon and he said he would be reaching out to me too. I called and left a voice mail, got no response. A couple days later I called again only to be told the position was filled. Justin never informed me or left me an email. The secretary offered to forward my application to another location. I agreed. I get an interview at the location and when they mention they will be taking my prints, I mention what might be on my record. The two men interviewing me, one being Michael Lorca, both shook their heads at me, made me feel ashamed and embarrassed, and promptly told me to keep business and personal life separate. I said getting my prints is quite personal but that's okay. Fast forward a cple days to get my papers filled out at the district office as they had accepted me into the position for Custodian. During which they took my prints and I diddnt circle anything because Michael Lorca and Scott made me feel ashamed and promptly told me to keep that kind of information to myself. They got my prints, the price of which would be deducted from my first check. Fast forward to today, when I was supposed to start my shift, I get a call from Justin at the district office an HOUR before my shift is supposed to start to come into the office and sort some things out before my shift starts. I agree and head into the office. I was very polite and respectful at first. I sat down in Justin's office and he closed the door, and asked me why I diddnt circle a possession for Marijuana with intent to use. I tried explaining to him the situation involving Michael and Scott at my interview and he cuts me off mid sentence to say "what interview?" I tried explaining again and he cut me off mid sentence with a very annoyed look and tone, I am getting annoyed myself at this point and try repeating myself, he cuts me off again and says explain. I say I am trying to explain but you aren't listening and your cutting me off. Tensions are rising as he continues to cut me off while I'm trying to talk, and I say you know what I'm not going to do this with you, he promptly nods his head and points to the door like this was his plan the whole time. I am very, very upset. I have 20$ in my account, I was almost homeless at the beginning of this year, I wasted my time, money, and energy to get a job at this district when I could have been getting a job elsewhere to ensure I have income to pay my upcoming bills. Extremely annoyed and perturbed with this district. Justin needs to lose his job and be replaced. Unprofessional, Judgmental, Holier Than Thou mentality."

"Horrible, discriminatory and undertrained staff at Cortez HS. They will definitely set kids up for failure. Unfair policies from district is always the excuse. These people should not be in charge of schools. Home school your kids. This is the way."
