"Regarding my reservation for Homewood Suites Myrtle Beach…The agent that booked my reservation was deceitful. He did not honor one condition that he used to get me to book with him. He lied about reducing my parking to $10/day. He said I would not pay a deposit, that was a lie. Also the rate I agreed to was more and the online rate was $20 less. Furthermore, he did not address himself as a travel agency. I just found out when I called hotel about my reservations. I thought I was speaking directly with Hilton reservations. Also he did not include my special request for my stay. Called the travel agency direct and spoke to manager, the only thing she would say was for me to cancel the reservation and book again with hotel. Well at this point, no rooms available. Unbelievable!"
"as a hotel employee, I have seen this company scam several times. We have had many reservations at risk of being cancelled, while having a full hotel during peak travel season. this company has stolen logos and made guests believe that they are booking with the hotel directly. When calling customer service, their employees are rude, short and blame you for not having the correct information. They refuse to allow you to speak to a manager. Travel Marvelz is what the bookings show, but when calling the phone number, they tell you that you can email reservation counter and give you a phone number for reservation counter. If you can avoid this company/these companies, please do!!"
"This is100% a scam company. I booked with "reservationdesk.com" believing this was the hotel's website. Travel plans to a meeting with my company were canceled last minute due to no fault of my own. After calling 3 different customer service numbers for this company and speaking with Priceline (who they book for, had I known this I would have directly booked with them as they are a reputable company). Horrendous customer service"
