"Dad and I had the pleasure of golfing with Bob Payne, one of the members of the course who was not only a gracious guide but a great player. His knowledge of the track and ability to read the greens allowed us to keep our match competitive. We saw owls on the course and it was the best manicured course we played all week. A little pricey but highly recommended"

"The course plays great right now and I love the design. 10 par 4’s and 4 par 5’s lots of chances to hit your driver. 4 creative par 3’s of various lengths. Greens are large, fast and roll very true. (Don’t over-read them, they break a little less than they look mostly) The staff is super friendly, professional and helpful yet the vibe is down to earth. Way better than Scottsdale. WORTH THE DRIVE!!!"

"I've stayed at the Harrah's Ak-Chin casino about 4 times. Little did I know that a golf gem was a mere 4 miles away! The conditions, superb! The price, a little steep! The service, GREAT! I was visiting from Atlanta and can assure you that I'll be back whenever I stay at the casino. Bunkers had nice sand, fairways overseeded, and the greens rolled at least a 10 (maybe faster). Consider playing The Duke, if you're in the area!"

"I was pleasantly surprised how well this course drains. We got a LOT of rain during our round and the green still rolled pure. It was nice to see the geese join the course with us. Great to see the wildlife and enjoy a pleasant day in a very well run league. Very well kept landscaping."

"Haven’t played here in over 6 years, glad our group was able to play this past Saturday. Overall, the course is in great shape, fairways were nice and greens ran very true. Service was excellent and food really good. *** What bothered me the most, this has nothing to do with the course or staff, is the golfers at this course. If you’re too lazy to fix your ball marks, you shouldn’t play. I fixed mine and many others on most of the greens. Golfers are quick to complain about conditions, yet are 90% of the cause. FIX YOUR BALL MARKS PEOPLE. It’s really easy to do."
