"I visited this location at lunchtime during the week. It wasn’t very busy so I was surprised that the service was slow and chaotic. I witnessed the server returning to the pickup window several times due to incorrect or missing items from orders. I ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza. When the server brought it to me, the slices were stacked on top of each other on a small plate. (See pictures) Really!? Who serves pizza like that!? It just made it a pile of mess. Very disappointing. I don’t know what was going on with this location that day or if all Barro’s restaurants are run like this one, but I won’t be returning to this location any time soon."
"I ordered the White pizza, and the Kona pizza on Friday. The white pizza for my sister and I, and the Kona for my husband. That night my husband got really really sick. We thought he had just caught a weird stomach virus, as my sister and I were fine. Well we just went to heat up some of Kona pizza and realized it is not cooked all the way. Pretty gross. Please check your pizza. My poor husband, it was really bad."
"Barro's Pizza has always been consistently good in our experience. We ordered a large Barro's Special and 24 medium wings. The order was take out, and we did not order beverages. We had a 25% off coupon and the total was $39.33 ($51.49 without the coupon). The food was hot and delicious, but they did not provide any celery with the wings. I don't know if that was a oversight, or if they will only provide celery twigs for an up-charge now. While dining at Barro's is not cheap, the food is good and service has always been friendly, including dine-in experiences."
"Was super disappointed. I love Barro’s it is one of our go to pizza joints where I live in Peoria. Was visiting my mom in Maricopa and was saying how great it was only to be so disappointed. We order 3 pizzas 2 orders of wings One pizza was supposed to be pepperoni and sausage pizza, bbq pizza and a meatball pizza. The slices were not cut through all the way and were cut very unevenly. The pizza was barely warm when it arrived. And we paid for toppings on all the pizzas but basically got cheese pizzas. We were lucky if we got 1 pepperoni and sausage on a slice of pizza. The BBQ wings we ordered smelled and tasted like melted plastic. The photo I attached was supposed to be of a pepperoni and sausage pizza. Super waste of money! Won’t be recommending them again!"
