"Yikes, I used to absolutely love this store, the volunteers and workers, the prices, everything. I visited today for the first time in a while and I was absolutely floored by the pricing practices. Marking collectibles, glass, and trendy DONATED goods at above-retail or above antique-mall pricing left a sour taste in my mouth. Price gouging when the economy is already sideways completely takes away from the goodness of the proceeds going towards hospice. I highly suggest you remove greed from your business practices and start adding to your community instead of profiting off of donated goods. $45.00 for recalled lead contaminated Shrek drinking glasses…no"
"White Dove is the best, I don't know what it with these broke people giving bad reviews about this thrift shop. I bought these Bolivian blood silver spoons for $4. It came from the mine that the Spanish conquistadors used to enslave the Bolivian people to work for the Spanish colonial MINT. FOR FOUR DOLLARS, PEOPLE DIED FOR THESE SPOONS. THIS ALLEGEDLY WHERE MODERN CAPITALISM WAS INVENTED. Damn if you paying $50 for a jacket or something it was probably like $2000 and you don't know it yet. You can't find this at a Goodwill, damn."
