"My Son & I ate brunch there. He really liked the BLT; said the bacon was especially good! My cheeseburger was good. Fries are the "factory frozen variety" and only so so . Coffee was very good. Good atmosphere, nice big windows with views. Very good seevice! Mens room needs more attention. We will eat there again. Thank you!"

"Heard there was a new owner to the restaurant so I went to see how it was. Valerie's Restaurant is owned by Maria Rosario Hernandez along with her granddaughter Valerie and some of the best help around have brought new life and great American and Mexican food back to the table. I had ham and eggs with hashbrowns potatoes and it was so good so flavorful and so much for so little that I thought that a second time is required. So a couple of days later I went for lunch and this time South of the border we go. Chicken Encinitas and pork tamales, rice and beans with hot fresh flour tortillas , what a treat. Very clean very well stocked and very good service."
