"some of the best apartments, fresh appliances, they honestly feel like a brand new house, great design, great hvac systems, and the rent isnt too expensive. the people in the office are amazing and always make us feel welcome, always help us out when we need something. never felt so welcome in a neighborhood. would highly recommend checking these out if you are in the market !"

"A mom of three kids that took refuge to Utah was given a three day eviction after there service dog “bit someone”. Hi I am the oldest of my mother’s kids. Me and my mother have mental and health issues and have a service dog for those reasons. My younger siblings took out the dog and was on the way back. Our dog is indeed a big dog but has never bit or attacked anyone. Something got his attention and he felt that my siblings were in danger. He jumped on the lady to push her back. Now the lady that he “bit” was our neighbor that we have never spoken too once. After it happened she called the cops and never came and spoke to us. They said it was a puncture wound. After we got our three day eviction. My mother called asking for more time and the manager didn’t allow it. She said and I quote “ your husband back and Elko hasn’t sold the house yet, you guys can go back there” As I said at the top we left due to us not being safe and for her to say that was not right at all. Before this incident I was sitting in the pool area with my service dog while my siblings swam. The manager came over and told me he looked like a dangerous dog. Since he is a service dog she couldn’t decline us. After a few weeks my mother missed a call and turns out there was no bite or puncture wound at all and they had to drop the case due to it only being a scratch. They have put my family into so much suffering We asked for our money back since we always pay our rent two weeks in advance. They refused. They are against people with mental health and a mother that needs help. They are against service animals, big dogs and they are raciest due to the fact that they wouldn’t even talk to my father because he is Mexican and has tattoos If you guys want to save your money please don’t rent here. Me and my family are traumatized and will never rent from anywhere again."

"I have lived here at the Retreat at Sky Mountain apartments for 2 years now and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The office ladies, INCLUDING the manager are always nice to me and my kid. The maintenance staff is phenomenal about fixing minor issues I had in the last 2 years as well. I have been lucky to have a great group of neighbors who all look out for each other as well. We will be moving out next month, so I do not have a comment on the move out process or deposit issues others have reported but I am a firm believer in showing respect to everyone and you will get respect back from the staff."

"So where do I start.. worst possible experience in my almost 40 years of my life!! LAZY RUDE OFFICE STAFF AND MANAGER! My sister recently relocated to Southern Utah, she’s recently left a toxic marriage and is staying at a shelter till she gets back on her feet! I’m a local, I have had friends who lived at these apartments and have always thought they were nice. We saw a post on fb advertising the apartments, my sister and I both contacted Sky Mountain, she got an appointment for the next day at 11am. She and her fiancé along with myself and our kiddos came to show support and view the property. My sister immediately was in love and wanted to apply for a three bedroom. April was helping us, even though my sister had an appointment she seemed very uninterested in helping her apply for an apartment, as if her time was more valuable than my sisters. We made it clear that my sister wanted to complete everything while on the property. April seemed to not like that and started saying she had another appointment, around that time she looked at my sisters bank account and stated she didn’t qualify based upon income by herself. Her fiancée came in the office and I asked him if he wanted to get on the lease with her..he said yeah sure no problem. April proceeded to ask him to fill out the paperwork and send his bank statements..at that time I made it clear to him that we need to hurry and go to the table in the walk in area for him to finish. April then backpedaled and stated her appointment wasn’t going to be there for awhile and he could finish. The whole time she had a huge chip on her shoulder acting like she had other things to do than her actual job of leasing apartments!! She has Beyond horrible customer service skills!! After leaving April had to call them to go back to the office because she didn’t have him sign all the correct paperwork. $80 application fees paid. Now fast forward to Wednesday of the next week.. no phone calls nothing from the office, they call to follow up and were told they didn’t even process the applications because APRIL ASSUMED my sisters Fiancée was just going on the lease as a co-signer.. NO ONE EVER SAID THIS WHILE WE WERE PRESENT IN THE OFFICE!! They purely discriminated against her based on nothing but assumptions!! At this point we are explaining my sister is pregnant this is her future husband so the assistant manager ran to get the manager, Now here’s where it gets good, the manager MAYRA URIBE came out with a CAMERA STRAPPED to her chest being beyond confrontational while literally quivering and trembling asking what the issue was when she was already informed by her assistant manager. To say the least who ever owns this property really needs to start watching the video recordings and immediately take the trash out before these power tripping woman get your company sued for discriminating and making someone tell personal details of there life that you clearly have NO BUSINESS KNOWING!! KARMA AND GOD WILL DEAL WITH YOU MAYRA! Be sure to forward that video to your Boss!! I’ll be praying for you!"

"Do not rent from these people! The office ladies are very rude and not helpful at all. They also do not seem to know much when you ask them or they give you answers that just cause more problems for you. My husband and I had to break our lease agreement here so we did not get our deposit back and that was understandable because that is said in the lease we signed. However we payed a pet deposit as well that we were told at the time we turned our keys in that it would be retuned to us after the 30 day period. We also in this time period received a carpet cleaning fee even tho they already had our deposit. We have been trying for a little over a month now to get the deposit back and they have not been answering their phones when we call. When we finally got someone they said that they would let the office manager know that we wanted to speak with her and we never received a call from her. We had to keep calling and we then got in contact with the office manager. She was the rudest person we have ever spoken with. She would not let me husband talk as she kept talking over him. When he did say anything she just laughed at him and in conclusion nothing was solved and we still owe them money for no reason. We were also told that they only clean the carpets they do not send a cleaning crew to come clean the apartments. We have never dealt with more rude and incompetent people than the people that work here. They have left an awful taste in our mouths about renting and we will never rent from anyone again because of how we were treated here. If you do not want to be scammed out of your money do not rent from here!"
