"I would happily give more than 5 stars if they were available. My wife does a lot of work at her desk at home, and her desk itself was cheap and falling apart. We had previously bought a beautiful small table from Mesquite Interiors, so for a major birthday I asked Rudy Saldivar, the proprietor, to design and build a replacement desk for her. You can see the result, if the picture I uploaded does it justice. To say it is a work of art understates its merits, because it is also a work of engineering brilliance. It is very big (she likes to spread out papers she's working on) and mesquite is heavy, but Mr. Saldivar designed it so that the two mesquite side panels support it in a very sturdy fashion. At the same time, if we ever wanted to move it, there are bolts that will release the side panels for ease of transport. It was a complete pleasure dealing with him, and I am in awe of his brilliance as both an artist and engineer."

"After ordering a custom piece: a laddered, tall bookcase in November, we began the waiting period with great anticipation. The finished product was recently delivered and I cannot describe just how beautiful it is. The finish, design, craftsmanship, presence of the piece have all exceeded our expectations.
