Massage Envy

"So, I usually go to another location and my regular massage person that’s right next to me but they were so booked out, I picked the next one it said was closest to me. Unfortunately, the app told me it was only 5.3 miles away and it was glitching or something because it ended up actually being 17-18 or so miles away on my map. They have a policy of no cancellations (without a fee) on the same day, which is completely fair. I wasn’t able to get a ride that far away and I was going to discuss what the fee would be and they were absolutely so kind to me. Because I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time and have never canceled (I have a business and understand frustrations of same day cancellations), they worked it out with me. I just found it extremely nice and helpful, when they could’ve easily charged me for the policy. I can’t thank them enough for helping me out, it hurts losing money at this time and I will absolutely remember the kindness this location showed me after the mix up on the app. I think her name was Jennifer? So sorry, I wish I checked the name before ending the call but definitely wonderful customer service. Thank you guys so much!"

"If you ever get a massage and do not like it, some of the fault is yours for not voicing your preferences. However, not all therapists are created equal, so let someone know at the time of your visit not here on social media. This is their livelihood. Let them know how to be better! Help don't hurt! Merry Christmas. My massage was great, relaxing, I was a little sore the next day, but muscles seemed loose. Thanks, Denae!"

"I’m pregnant and was gifted a massage to this location by a friend; but the masseuse I had was honestly horrible. I think her name was savannah or something with an S. She talked the entire time and tried to sell me her baby stuff. I just wanted to relax and enjoy a massage but the massage she was giving I could’ve had my 7 year old child do a better job honestly. I think it was because she was so into her conversation trying to make an extra buck she was beyond distracted. I didn’t enjoy an hour massage because it was cut off way before then. I was bummed out! If I ever come to this location I never want a massage by her. With this experience I don’t think my husband would agree I even come here again."

"This is the worst location to go to. My husband and I have been members for years. Every time a staff member from Lake Pleasant calls to confirm an appointment, it is a different story. For example, I booked a massage for my son 4 months. When I was making the appointment this week, the staff member did not inform me about the new policy. This is a time frame of 5 days. I had a staff member call me today, and she states, "Your son can only have an appointment once every 6 months! Now, fyi, at other Massage envy locations, the staff allows my son to go weekly, will call my home location for a $10 transfer fee, and I have never had to call. Last thing, I spoke to my home office regarding the transfer fee and as a member and a courtesy I shouldn't be calling. I have 18+ banked Massages and my husband has 20+. I will never go back. If you have had a great experience, you are very lucky. I just keep on and on been told different policies. I have had the manager call me too. She still didn't resolve it. I just don't understand how this location can't handle a family of 4 and have friends sign up without giving them a hard time as well. I will never go back, I don't want to go back, I do not recommend this location. If you are the manager who wants to respond to this review, please don't. I don't want to hear about another policy that is going to be different from what your other 2 employees said differently. Let's just say have a day nice and be safe. Please just don't drag it on."
