"Needed few more bags of concrete in a hurry since we ran out in near the end of a pour, and manager knew our situation but refused to sell us any at all! She said because it had rained earlier that day (wasn't raining at all when we came in) that she couldn't uncover the pallet out back because it MIGHT risk getting bags wet and MIGHT be a 'slip risk' for employees :-) -- wow... Ridiculous!! This place is such a joke! We were polite, and manager was rude and beligerent. Could hardly believe it. Deserves 0 stars. I already avoided Ace's 2x prices, but now will avoid them altogether. They'll need to lower their prices AND majorly step up their customer service to have ANY chance of survival once Home Depot opens here-- Looking forward to that!!!"

"As a loyal customer supporting local ACE stores for 25 years, I was deeply disappointed with my recent experience at the Maricopa ACE. In March 2024, I visited the store to purchase some metal primer. Unfortunately, only one can was left on the shelf, which was noticeably damaged. I approached the paint associate and requested a discount, but my request was denied. I escalated the issue to a manager at the checkout, explaining the situation and the associate's refusal. To my surprise, the manager declined to offer a discount, despite acknowledging the damage to the product. This interaction left me feeling undervalued as a customer and dissatisfied with the service I received. I told the manager that we should never have this conversation as every reputable retailer (HD, Lowes) will reduce damaged products on demand on their own volution. It is the principle that the customer business is appreciated, not the $1 in savings that will make no impact on the transaction WHATSOEVER. The following day, I visited a different store, Big 5, to purchase an item. Although the product was not in stock, the cashier went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Without me even asking, she offered a 10% discount on a display item despite it not being damaged. This stark contrast in customer service between ACE and Big 5 only further highlighted my dissatisfaction with the service I received at ACE. What a difference in customer service. Having HD and Lowes in Maricopa may teach ACE a lesson. I spoke my peace."

"Great customer service cashier's are the best very knowledgeable with regards to store inventory. They deserve nore than five stars I would give then nine or fifteen stars. They are an asset to the company."

"A big shout out to Ace Hardward. We snapped our outside faucet off trying to remove an old hose. We went to Ace and they talked us through how to fix and had everything we needed. I love the small town customer service they have and the care for the people they serve in the community. Way to go and thank you!!!"

"I've been to this location numerous times to purchase various items. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Prices seem a little high compared to big box stores, but since Maricopa does not have any of those, Karsten's Ace Hardware is conveniently located here in town. Overall, it's a hardware store that has most of what people will need from a hardware store, without having to drive out of town."
