"I asked for some help getting a leaf blower, store associate didn't know the code to unlock the lock, thats understandable. She proceeded to find another store associate who did and told me someone is on there way. Well 15-20 minutes go by, no one came. Guess they dont care about their customer, so i ended up just leaving. I would not return to this store location."

"We stopped in to purchase a new water heater because ours stopped heating. The plan was to buy the water heater and I would install it because I have installed a few in the past. The worker in the appliance area was. Very helpful and knowledgeable with the water heaters. He told us that they use a third party that could install next day. We left our info and by the time we got home the third party had emailed me asking a series questions for the estimate and I even enclosed pictures of the old unit and it's location.. we waited 48 hours with no response and I called the number 5 times leaving messages. Finally I told my housemate let's just go by one and I will install. Which he did and then I installed it saving us hundreds of dollars. I do not blame Lowe's for this third party's actions. However I did call and complain to the store manager because I wanted them to know that I thought a multi million dollar business should not have flakes sub contracting their work. If I was not able to install the new water heater we would have been without hot water for 8 days because that is when the third party finally returned my call. I told them to get lost. Our issue was handled."

"Loved my new whirlpool stove. I had my other stove approx 1999. The guys that came out were very nice. However the date 2/13 I smelled a faint gas smell. I thought it was the new stove and new smell. The second day I came in from outside and smelled a faint gas smell again. I called the gas company. They came out and fixed the valve problem. Per the gas company the guys who installed my stove had not put threading on the bottom and had minimal threading on the top of the valve inside. This is why the valve was leaking from both sides. The stove was used in a.m. This could have been a dangerous situation. I had a headache. Recommendations more training for installers who touch our valves when they install our stoves. I was going to call manager but the gas company said they would. Be aware when you have appliances installed."

"Marilyn at self check out was so fabulous and put a smile and laugh of mine and my husband's face. Shes mega helpful. Corporate better recognize shes amazing!!!"

"Lowe's (as of February 2024) no longer honors its posted return policy. Purchased a shower head (a model only Lowe's sells to my knowledge). Paid cash, didn't put my phone number at checkout because I don't want spam. Accidentally lost my receipt (look, I'm sure it's somewhere and someday I'm going to find it in whatever really safe place I put it). I didn't even open the shower head before I realized it would not work. Took the unopened product back to the store and they *WOULD NOT DO A RETURN* not even for store credit. They also would not do an exchange for the one I actually needed, which was more expensive, so I would have been spending more money in their store. So, now I'm out over $150 on a shower head I can't use, and they're out a customer because I won't be going back to any Lowe's for any reason if I can help it. I'll pay more to go to Ace and Home Depot, where they don't refuse to honor their own return policies."
