El Pollo Loco

"Haven’t been here in years but decided to give it a shot so I ordered a chicken burrito and in the burrito I bit down on something hard and see a bone! Thank god it didn’t break my tooth. But now I am wondering if they did that on purpose. During the drive thru order they asked if I wanted chips and I said yes. I thought it came with the meal and then I see they charged me separate for chips and guac. I explained nicely to the lady that I was confused and don’t want the chips and guac sep and asked for a refund. She did refund it but maybe they were annoyed and put the bone in there? Not sure but either way I shouldn’t have a bone in my burrito. Well I’ll go another 7 years without el pollo loco."

"Good food. Green salsa is really good. Super nice people. Parking is horrible. 5 parking spots for the entire building. Inside of restaurant smelled really funky , maybe old frying oil? Not sure if it's a franchise or a chain, but the funky smell inside and poor parking is enough to make people go elsewhere, unfortunately."

"Ordered a Meal for Two as a to go order. The area is very busy so parking was difficult. I picked up my order and the woman sealed the bag so I couldn’t confirm it right away. I think she thought it was a meal for one person because she only gave me 1 plasticware and no extra condiments. The chicken pieces were very small and the sides were enough for 1 person. If the bag wasn’t sealed, I would’ve ordered an extra side. The meal was good though."

"**Pollo Loco** -Received coupon in the mail -Ordered 16 piece family meal for $30, with three sides: -mac and cheese -rice -mashed potatoes and gravy -2 corn/8 flour tortillas With sides of: -green salsa (hot) -roja salsa (fiery) -mild salsa -cilantro dressing -churros -Bag didn't look like much but was very heavy, obviously had a lot of food in it. -The order was 100% correct -Everything was super hot when it got home. (Still very warm after sitting on the counter for 20 minutes) -chicken pieces seemed on the small side, but we're cooked well and tasted great -while the chicken was hot it was really good. As it cooled down it got very dry. -roja salsa (fiery) was definitely smokey and spicer than I expected! I misread the description. My God this is painfully spicy and I like spice! -mild salsa was standard mild salsa -green salsa was very good and had an after spice (only one I would need in the future) -cilantro dressing tasted like fresh, creamy cilantro -tortillas were all individually wrapped, fresh, and nice and warm. -would have liked an option to switch tortillas out for chips or another side as we are not huge tortilla eaters -for the price, if you are going to eat it while It's fresh, it is worth it. -next time I'd order less with no plans of leftovers"
