"On a vacation back East, my brother introduced us to Detroit Style pizza. We loved it and looked into finding a restaurant that serves it here in the Phoenix area. We discovered this particular restaurant - The Rec - and loved it just as much! We ordered a medium pizza half sausage, half pepperoni. They use fresh mozzarella and the crust was crispy on the outside and infused with flavor. We also ordered Buffalo wings (bone in). They were delicious as well and had a slightly smoked flavor to them from also being grilled. We were very happy with our meal and will return."

"I saw ricotta and had to get The Barry pizza. It was my first time trying Detroit style pizza and I loved the crispy cheese crust! My friend ordered The Hockeytown and she enjoyed it too. She wanted to watch the Colorado Avalanche game and they were very nice to put it on for us. Check them out!"
