"If you need dog grooming in Boise or the surrounding area you should definitely go to Gentle Paws, and specifically see Kristen!! I actually heard about Kristen because she works on a lot of the dogs at the dog park we go to, and I’ve only heard great things and seen beautiful dogs. I have 2 dogs that go here and every single time they come back looking absolutely stunning!! Kristen always gives me exactly what I’m looking for, and even takes notes on what she did last time so we can get it the same the next time. You can tell she takes great pride in her work. What more could you ask for??? As a doodle owner it’s hard to find the right groomer for the different curl types but Kristen is a real professional. I swear she can tackle just about anything! I couldn’t recommend this grooming salon and Kristen more. Oh, and when the dogs are done being groomed they get to hang out in the salon on beds with toys, no cages!! That’s one thing I never liked about other places, they take in 5 or more dogs at a time and rotate them in and out of crates while other dogs are being worked on. But at Gentle paws your dog is their only focus (they only book one dog at a time per groomer) and they are done in 2.5 ish hours without the trauma of being stuck in a cage for half the day. It’s very much a comfort of home vibe and I highly recommend!"
