La Cache is a unique home goods store located at 400 North Downing Street in Denver, Colorado. This store is not just any ordinary retail outlet, as it is an award-winning antiques consignment shop that generates revenue to benefit kids and families at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Founded in 1982 by volunteer Lenore Stoddart, La Cache has donated over $5 million in net proceeds to the hospital over the years.
At La Cache, shoppers can find a variety of stylish items at affordable prices, including antiques, sterling silver, crystal, china, art, fine linens, small rugs, jewelry, furniture, and more. The store accepts both consigned and donated items, with 60% of the sale proceeds going back to the consignor and the remaining 40% donated to Children's Colorado.
Volunteers at La Cache are dedicated to providing a seamless consignment process for customers, ensuring that items are accepted for consignment and ultimately sold. Whether you are an antiques buff, consignor, donor, or volunteer, there are opportunities for everyone to make a difference at La Cache.
If you are interested in consigning at La Cache, you can visit the store during business hours (Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) to bring in your items. Jewelry can be consigned without an appointment, while furniture and chandeliers require photographs to be emailed for consideration.
Items that are not accepted for consignment can be returned to the owner or donated to La Cache/Children's Colorado. All proceeds from the sale of donated items go directly to the hospital. If you choose not to consign any items with La Cache, a $25 donation to Children's Colorado is requested when items are picked up.

"Best place to shop for antiques n rare finds cuz part of the proceeds goes to a good cause. It is an antique consignment shop for Childrens Hospital run by lovely volunteer ladies n a few gents. However, during the recent year or two their consingment policy changed. It is very difficult to get an appointment. Also the change in their pricing policy make it longer & more difficult to sell the items bcuz they r too expensive. Due to that reason their turn over slowed down. Obviously, as a consignor & a customer, as well as a person w/40 years of retail experience & a retail buyer these r my personal observations."

I've even found a few delightful things for a great deal that I've resold at my little biblical Ark in the Rocky Mountains.
