"If you're staying in Spokane and don't at least spend a night at the Funkey House, you're just doing yourself a disservice. One of the coolest houses I've ever been to, you could spend hours or even days exploring and still find new things! Not to mention, the hosts are incredibly down to earth people and will make the stay even more enjoyable. Definitely my go-to choice next time I'm in the area."

"Amazing! Traveling west is so much better being able to stop somewhere incredible in Spokane, which isn't my favorite town but now has this going for it ;) . The house is unlike anywhere else in the best of ways all while being bright clean and fresh. I tell everyone just to stop in to see it if they're passing thru even if they can't stay. If you need a place to stay in Spokane, there is no other option that comes close to the magic on offer here."

"This house is awesome visually. It reminded me of an old cabin in Maine I used to visit as a kid and it really hit home for me. However, spending the night is a totally different story. First of all, this house has next to no heat at all and I would not stay here in the winter. Secondly, the boat room that I slept in had a blue blanket with a mysterious crusty area on it that my friend identified as potentially being semen. So I couldn't sleep comfortably feeling like everything is dirty. The boat room also has mold when you look up near the skylight where you can't cover bright daylight coming in in the morning. It was so cold in there too because the room is literally sticking out of the house in the form of a boat. The space heater in there is broken so I woke up to my friend shivering (we had to take mysteriously crusty blanket off of us of course we are not gonna use it). There were 17 of us crammed into this house for a school trip, and the owners wanted to charge a 500$ deposit when we got there and that was super confusing since they did not handle explaining that to us at all. We found a lot of dust and gross un-cleaned areas. I felt really uncomfortable.. probably check the sheets if you want to sleep here or bring your own honestly. Glad i brought a blanket"

"Fantastic stay! Truly a unique gem in Spokane. Great affordable guest house that's an experience in itself. Even if you can't stay the night, definitely try to stop by for a tour!"
