"I have worked at this place for almost 13 years, I started here when it was Good Samaritan. It was a beginning of a career I didn’t know I would fall in love with. Yes, changes came and we went through another company name Sanford, then covid came and that was the most stressful and hardest thing to do in healthcare and the company Sanford did not take care of us employees or our leaders very well. It sure changed the environment in healthcare here. I was not a huge fan of Sanford and the environment with staff had become negative in my eyes and I wanted a change and to tested my skills as a CNA so I left for a year. I heard the struggles and stress of my old job Good Samaritan/Sanford and I missed my residents and wanted to come back and help with the new company Paradise Creek. I’ll be honest I was hesitant to go back and to start with a new company but hearing from old coworkers who I trust with their thoughts and views of the company I decided to give it try. At first there were a lot of changes in the beginning and I didn’t know what to expect. Change is hard for everyone but I knew these changes were needed. After the pandemic and the lack of support from Sanford The environment had to change for the sake of our residents and for us staff and I was ready for it. Since now working for this company, for almost a year, I love the changes they are doing and how supportive they are with our leaders and staff. We are doing more activities with our residents, staff is being appreciated and supportive and held accountable with grace. Our New Nurse in Assisted living has brought so much care, support, understanding and compassion to our residents and staff. Thank you so much Denice for being an amazing nurse. Our CEO is hands on involved and helps in anyway she can and I have never seen that in other jobs before, thank you Emma. Our boss Jen and lead CNA Shannon have worked hard to keep things going and support our team in anyway they can here. Thank you to you guys too. We did gain some new staff and they have been such a huge blessing to this company, residents and staff and for the ones who stuck around and got through these changes I love you guys and want to continue working by your side. I am very thankful that Paradise Creek of Olympus took over and is helping this place evolve for the better."

"Quiet neighborhood location with lots of walking space. The grounds are beautiful. Inside is dreadfully outdated. Might also be a veteran’s facility. There is one room with paintings and crafts and stuffed animals that might be for kids or an art studio. Just needs a good makeover."
