"HPB is one of my all-time favorite places to go in the whole valley. You never know what treasures you might find, and at a steal! The employees are very nice and the store is well maintained, organized, and clean. If you can't find what you're looking for, they might be able to find it at another location & have it shipped there. I've done this a couple times with no problems; they always let you know as soon as your items have arrived for pickup. Great service and great selection- highly recommend!"
"We had the BEST experience here!! We were visiting Boise but couldn't pass up visiting a good bookstore! It was a wonderful atmosphere, clean and really well organized. I was able to find so many books myself, without any assistance. Their bathrooms were clean! I was surprised by the HUGE selection, and really happy with the prices too! We needed to catch a plane after shopping here, but that didn't stop me from buying 2 armfuls of books! Haha. Wish we had stores like this where I'm from!"
"Always enjoy rummaging through some new and used books! The smell of knowledge and adventures awaits! Certainly have a good variety and section of books from cooking and art to metaphysical and sports, even kids books, vinyl records to cds and DVD movies as well! They even have a rare section with plenty of older hard to find reads! It's hard to put a price on books and some may be higher than expected but for the area and the selection you've got a good chance at finding something you'd enjoy!"
"I could spend all day (and money) at this place. I enjoy browsing through physical products better than going online. Even though my main love language is not physical touch, I still enjoyed rummaging with my hands through the aisles of books. I felt the love. It brought tears to my eyes (not really) remembering the good old days driving to Hastings and buying things I didn't need. Anyway, if you would like to know what the meaning of life is, go to this place. Of course, you won't find it there but you'll have a good time. Peace! ♥️"
