Broken Yolk Cafe

"I ordered food to go – two eggs and a biscuit. The lady asked if I wanted bacon or sausage and I said it didn’t come with that and she said it did so I said bacon. Then she tried to charge me five dollars for bacon. She couldn’t figure out how to avoid the transaction, and now I’m stuck dealing with my credit card. When I finally got my food, the biscuit was cold; picture below. With so many great choices, I’d recommend finding a different one. The food, nor the service are worth the effort."

"My family and I have eaten here a few times in the past right after they opened. The food was mediocre and the service was as well. We thought it was just growing pains of a new establishment opening. Fast forward to this morning, we made a visit back to give it another chance. The waitress was very nice, greeted us promptly and took our order. 40 minutes later we asked if we could get the order in "to go" containers because I had to leave to work and didn't realize it would take this long. She said that would work fine and a few minutes later went somewhere to do something. We looked up at the food window and noticed 18 different plates of food stacked on top of each other, not one server going over there in over 5 minutes to grab any of the food. We waited a few more minutes and asked our server if it was possible to cancel our order because I had to get to work and wouldn't have time to eat now. She said yes because they had not started our order yet. Overall, IHOP vibes with the food and atmosphere. Very slow to get your food and pricing is a bit higher than I would think due to those issues. It is SUPER loud in there as well, the acoustics would be great for a concert but not so great to carry on a conversation over breakfast. We looked around and saw multiple people and children plugging their ears due to how loud it was."

"Came in to have a lovely breakfast. It was super busy where do I start, Server forgot our OJ. Our water cup wasn’t washed properly still had residue. My eggs had hair on it. Was so disgusted they had my food remade because you never know how mad cooks get when they get food sent back. Server remade my food n my burger was still raw. Very disappointed in my first experience. I will never come back n I will never recommend this place to anyone"

"This hole in the wall restaurant is tucked away in Meridian, but it sure is good! I ordered the Ranchero skillet and the bloody Mary flight. I wasn't sure which bloody Mary to eat but fortunately they had an option where I could try them all without ordering four bloody Mary's lol 2/4 of the bloody Mary's were delicious. One was just okay and the last one was gross. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The eggs were cooked perfectly to my request. The service was friendly and the place was clean. I could see myself returning to this place for some breakfast."
