"Hung up on me. Save your time and energy, go elsewhere. If they are as bad to their animals as they are to the humans looking to adopt then I wouldn’t be surprised if they came out of there showing signs of abuse or neglect. Thank goodness they were SO AWFUL that I went on down the road to Joplin Humane Society and that’s where I met my Hurley baby(pictured below). I recommend go to Faithful Friends, Huckleberry Rescue, Carthage or Joplin Humane Society to adopt, these folks don’t deserve your business with the lack of customer service I received. Adopt from someone that loves animals because that shows in the animals that leave the shelters. Shame on GOLDEN PAW! I’d give you 0 stars if I could!"
"We adopted an older dog 1 year ago. She had been there a couple months but per my vet she is healthy. The workers take great care of the animals in their care. They can only do as good as they can with the resources they have. We donate wet and dry dog and cat food and cat litter to try and help. I’d adopt from here again!"
