"This store has lots of fly materials and plenty of quality gear. The two men working however, were condescending and followed and stared at my fiancé like she was going to steal something or she was not worthy of being in the store, while I simply roamed and gathered materials. I asked if they had a specific hook, and the man working didn’t know what I was talking about. So to him, I was wrong and it wasn’t a thing. He looked it up in Ahrex’s catalog, and sure enough it was there. He gave me a snarky comment about learning something new and moved on to show me some other hooks. I went ahead and bought some materials cause I needed it, but I don’t think I’ll return. To top it off, my fiancé and I were sitting in the parking lot after leaving checking for a place to eat, and one of the men stared at us the whole time through the front glass of the store. Overall it was very unwelcoming environment with people working who think they know it all and aren’t good listeners. Can’t say I’d recommend it."

"Great local store. I have been tying flys for about a year, fly fishing for a lot longer. I really enjoy tying flys but ever since I started it has always been a chore finding all the materials needed to complete any one pattern. I would have to order from multiple websites an item or 2 at a time because no single website ever had what I needed. All the big stores around here have a big selection of empty pegs in there fly departments. I finally found K&K and it is great! Their selection is huge and is very fairly priced. I had a running list of over 20 things I have been looking for and they had every single one. Not to mention I was greeted with a friendly Hello when I came in and they helped me find everything I needed. The metro is lucky to have a store like this in the area and it will be the only place I shop from now on. I just wish I had found this place sooner."
